Apple Cake Recipe
#applecake #apfelkuchem #tortadimele Recipe: 180 ml olive oil 80 ml orange juice 450 g sugar 4 eggs 400 g flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1tsp salt ▪️For the apple filling 5 apples 5 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon ¼ tsp cloves Instructions: 🍎🍏For the apple filling ▪️Use any type of apples you like ▪️Peel the apples and roughly chop in pieces ▪️Transfer apples to a bowl and add cinnamon, ground cloves, sugar and walnuts. 🍰For the cake: ▪️Preheat oven on 180°C Fan ▪️In a bowl add olive oil, orange juice, sugar and whisk ▪️Than add eggs and incorporate In a separate bowl mix flour with baking powder and salt. ▪️Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix until the batter forms. ▪️Grease and flour the cake pan ▪️Add ⅓ of the batter ▪️Add half of the apples ▪️Cover with ⅓ batter ▪️Add the remaining apples ▪️Cover with the remaining batter ▪️Bang the cake on a hard surface so the batter fills the gaps between the apples ▪️Bake for 60 minutes
